Another Day...
Well it was certainly a busy morning in work...I'm a Hairstylist and love the different days doing so many different people and styles.
at Lunch Time it was off to my Rotary Clubs meeting at West Mon Golf Club, the Highest Golf Club in G.B...So that means we must be the club that meets at the Highest altitude in G.B...unless anyone ants to contradict that statement! Great Lunch today, Cod, Chips and Salad and for Pudding.....Treacle Sponge and Custard....yummeeee.
back to work...meetings with Business advisers and then Home at 6pm, to help my niece prepare her Order of Services for May 24th when she marries Lee Brown in St Marys, Brynmawr....really looking forward to the wonderful day...
Makes us realise too, that our Stephs' will be here before we know it next year, it was a year ago Kelly and Lee announced their intended date to marry and here we are nearly there!!!
Well I think its a early night tonight, I've a Rotary DoctorBank meeting tomorrow and then Two Rotary Dinners on Thursday and Friday as well as a Hen Night on Saturday then Rotary District 1150 Assembly Sunday! my God am I gonna need some sleep!!!!!!

An afternoon of Rotary Planning..
Last Tuesday at my Clubs meeting.[RC Brynmawr] lots of discussion occurred regarding planning for the future...that's at club level and I realised that I am going to miss out on the fun and fellowship of those people whom I both respect and love. It is because of the invitation of Christine Bayliss that I joined this wonderful club and organisation and to Alan Edwards who as President then inducted me as a member...Huge Thanks are owed to these people and the others in my club who have believed and supported me in my Rotary Journey.
The support continues as the work of this Brilliant membership of people will be more so as they help me in the work in my next 18 months...
This year our President Johnathon Danter has given ideas for consideration which has made us look outside of the box, A toy collection which in this day and age of Health and Safety not only produced donations of many toys and goods but highlighted how youngsters who are perceived as having it so good, actually may not in many parts of Wales...
A few Months of Johns Presidency remains before Christine takes the role over and planning for that is in our minds as well at the moment...
But my afternoon was looking at Conference again for October 2010 and kept me busy! News will start filtering through in the Autumn of ideas I have and how the Conference Team is working towards what we hope is a fun filled worthwhile learning experience.....more soon about that!

A Day out but not a Rotary one
Well I am certainly going to have to get into a habit with updating my blog!...time management must now include five minutes a day for the updates..
So its a mammoth read or look at the pictures in store tonight...sorry...
Today I went to Sophia Gardens...nothing to do with Rotary....I know even I'm surprised!
My daughter who is a manager for our business was taking part in the I-SA Salon Cymru 2009 Hairdressing competitions...wonderful day with lots of great young hairstylists which bodes well for my professions future...even better Steph came away with A trophy gaining a very respectful third place...pictured above is Steph with her model Sheriden...
Her other two models, Aimee and Fran.are alos pictured...so whilst I am away enjoying Rotary you will see Steph will be able to do the normal, wild and wacky and keep the pennies rolling in so I can enjoy Rotary! Thanks Steph for a wonderful day and also to your models...
